முகம்மது நபி எனும் வணிகர்...

உலகத்தில் நடக்கும் அனைத்து யுத்தங்களும் வணிகத்துக்காகவே நடக்கின்றன என்பது நாம் அறிந்ததே.

தமிழ் மண்ணில் இருந்து உலகம் முழுக்க வணிகம் செய்த சாத்தன்களுக்கு (நகரத்தார்கள்) எதிராக உருவான சமயம் தான் இசுலாம்.

சமீபத்தில் "ஒரு அடார் லவ்" என்ற படத்தில் இருந்து வெளியிடப்பட்ட "மாணிக்க மலராய பூவி" என்ற மலையாள பாடல் வீடியோ பிரபலமானது. அந்தப் பாடலை தடை செய்யகோரி ஹைதராபாத் உருது முஸ்லீம்கள் வழக்கு தொடர்ந்தனர் என்ற செய்தியும் வந்தது.

அந்தப் பாடலில் என்னதான் உள்ளது என்று ஆராய்ந்து பார்த்தால் அதிர்ச்சி தான் மிஞ்சியது.

கேரளாவில் மாபிள்ளை முஸ்லீம்கள் என்பவர் மலபார் பகுதியில் வாழ்கின்றனர். இவர்கள் அரபு வணிகர்களுக்கும் மலபார் பெண்களுக்கும் ஏற்பட்ட கலப்பில் பிறந்தவர்கள் ஆவர்.

It was a surprise for us when we research about the meaning behind the original song.

Mappila Muslims of Kerala are living in the Malabar region. They were born to Arab traders and Malabar women.

"Manikya Malaraaya Poovi" is a song which usually sung on their auspicious occasions like marriages. The folk song describes the qualities of Khadeeja Biwi and the love between her and Muhammad and their marriage.

The lady who lived like a queen (she was a merchant too) in Mecca sent Muhammad to Ancient Tamilakam to trade.

The white clothes Muslims wearing are looks like the same as the Nagarathars' clothes.

The influence of ancient Ajivika is found in Islam.
